Reynaldo N.Budhi is originally from New York City and has been painting for close to two decades. His style is a vivid realism, often using unusual colors to enhance the subject. He recently moved to Meadows of Dan, Virginia, to start a veganic vegetable farm with his partner. His artwork can be found in several private collections as well as in public murals across the country.
ABOUT THE PIECE
APPALACHIAN CURIOSITIES. (Having difficulty deciding between the two themes, the obvious solution is to do a somewhat fusion of the two.) Within a wooden display cabinet will be twelve compartments. Each compartment will house figurines, pictures, or artifacts depicting an Appalachian folklore or legend. Often frightening, sometimes sad, sometimes wonderous, all mysterious; each compartment will pique the curiosity of the viewer to the world of Appalachian folklore.
